Located high up in Desert Hot Springs on Hacienda Avenue in Hacienda Heights area., this twelve room facility has the advantage of views. Complete with large private court- yard pool and hot water spa set off in a private room. It has a large shower room adjacent to the Spa.. It is situated in the Hot water zone sections of Desert Hot Springs but was capped off a few years ago, reasons unknown. The temperature in this sector is 102 degrees and may require a ''Cold water mixer'' to reduce the temperature as it enters the spa. Not a difficult adjustment if the new owner wished to have the geo-thermal water the city is named after and famous for. The property was built on the slope of a hill. You enter the lobby, office area at street level. The Spanish Mediterranean structure is horse shoe shaped with the rooms down below on the side of the pool. The guest rooms contain double queen beds and each have an adjoining small kitchen plus a large private covered patio, basically a mini-suite. The resort is handled much like an Airb&b with electronic door locks. The owners are not on property but control all arrivals/ departures electronically. The reservation goes to the owner, who takes the credit card information or wire transfer, Once verified the entrance code is relayed to guest who checks into their assigned room. A house keeper is on property to assist as well as a handyman for maintenance. Upon departure day the guestroom is electronic closed and housekeeping restores the room for arriving guests. There is a washer/dryer area for guests use as well as a small kitchen pool side empty dining room for guests snacks. Very private.
