Description

Unit 144 at Aloft delivers one of the lowest price points per square foot in the building. A striking barn door greets you at the entry. As the corner unit with the largest floor plan in its tier, living, dining, and kitchen flow freely with no shared walls to other units. At the far end, a full brick accent wall anchors the space, flanked by two large sliders facing 9th Street. The second bedroom, converted from the original open loft, is fully enclosed for privacy, accommodating a queen size bed plus a workspace and an expansive closet, offering significantly more function and separation than the typical open loft layout. First-floor convenience without the typical ground-floor exposure. The building’s hillside setting elevates the residence above street level, providing added privacy and separation from pedestrian traffic. Step outside to resort caliber amenities built for gathering: a rec area with a barbecue and fire pit lounge with seating for 20+, a palm lined pool, spa, and a full gym or exercise room. Controlled access and an on site concierge keep the beautifully maintained grounds feeling nothing like a typical condo building. Cortez Hill is downtown San Diego's best kept secret, a quiet mesa enclave perched high enough that bay views appear from the street corner, yet calm enough to feel worlds apart from the bustle below.
