Description

Built in the 1920s for silent-film actor Orville Caldwell and set above it all, this Italian Revival villa carries a storied Hollywood legacy. Set on a rare street-to-street lot, the grounds unfold in layers with terraces, courtyards, rolling lawns, and a backyard patio shaded by climbing jasmine and lemon trees. Inside, the architecture speaks for itself, with original details and an old-world soul that has been lovingly preserved. A grand stairway leads up to the property, which opens to a formal entry, spacious living room, and formal dining room with French doors leading to your own private terrace. The main level also includes an in-unit laundry room, powder room, separate bathroom, and kitchen. Upstairs, the primary bedroom opens to a wraparound terrace connecting to a spacious second bedroom, while an additional third bedroom or office space has a quaint private terrace of its own. Ivarene isn't just a home, it's a piece of old Hollywood that feels like you're stepping into another era. Available October 2026. Guest house has its own separate address & entrance and is tenant-occupied. Back courtyard space is shared.
